Separators

The primary function of an oil and gas separator is to separate and collect liquids from natural gas. An effectively designed separator not only facilitates the removal of liquids but also enables the release of entrained gases from the accumulated hydrocarbon liquids. These separators can be referred to by various names based on their specific purposes, such as liquid separators, oil separators, water and oil separators, and more. However, the two most common types of separators are the two-phase separator, which separates gas from liquid, and the three-phase separator, which separates gas, oil, and water. Gravity is the fundamental principle utilized in all separators to accomplish the separation process.
